Payment Information

• A deposit of 100 USD is required as a guarantee that you’re serious about your intentions. 
• Remaining sum on the date of your charter during boarding on the boat in cash.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations before 48 hrs. will receive a 100% refund and the same way how it was received.
  
• Cancellations less than 48 hours (2 days) before the start of your fishing charter your deposit $100 USD will be kept by Big Marlin Charters Company as a compensation for a lost time and preparations for fishing trip and lost profits.
• No-shows will be charged to the amount of your deposit and kept by Big Marlin Charters Company.

Weather policy

In case of bad weather high waves more than 6.5 feet or stormy rain, strong windy and the impossibility of going fishing, we offer you convenient dates or refund the full amount of your deposit with the same way as received from you. In case of cancellation from our side for example: if the boat is not ready (engines, transmission, etc.)  or Captain can’t sure that the offshore fishing is safe, we will return 100% of your down payment to your Pay Pal payment or bank accounts or cash or any another payment.
The Captain can cancel trip at any time due to quickly changing conditions for the safety of fishermen & crew.

We do not cancel fishing trips due to the threat of rain or actual rain showers on the day of your charter. Here in Punta Cana there is a chance of rain almost every day. Fortunately, most of the time the showers are short and fast-moving.

Sea Sickness

No refunds for seasickness. If you’ve never been offshore, take motion sickness medicine if your doctor says it’s okay. Dramamine or similar works well. Take one pill in the morning before you leave and one the night before. The medication won’t work if you take it on the boat. Patches work well, but you have to apply them the night before and wear them while you sleep. The decision to return to the dock early must be unanimous. There are no refunds for sea sickness, overheating, or anything similar.
