We booked with Big Marlin Charters for a private family boat trip with snorkeling and not fishing and it was a great choice! We originally wanted Blue Sky but Captain Yustas recommended Gone Dog because it has a swim platform and ladder. He was absolutely right. The boat was very clean, comfortable, and in great condition. We cruised along the Punta Cana coastline enjoyed the views and stopped for snorkeling saw plenty of fish and had cold drinks on board. The whole boat was private just for our family which made the trip even better. It was easily one of the most relaxing and enjoyable three hours of our vacation. Thank you Big Marlin Charters and the Gone Dog crew. Highly recommended!

Incredible experience and highly recommend Big Marlin Charters when visiting Punta Cana. Family reeled in 21 Mahi Mahi during our outing! Captain Willie, Manuel, and Hector, were exceptional. Big Marling Charter provided seamless pickup from hotel to the charter boat (Gone Dog). On return crew filet one of the Mahi Mahi so we could have it prepared and eaten right at Cielo Beach Club Restaurant facing the ocean. Best meal we had while visiting Punta Cana. Looking forward to return visit.

We had a good half day of fishing with Alfred and the Captain Kelvin on board the Cana. We had good success catching 5 mahi-mahi and 2 baraccuda and 1 Wahoo. Alfred was a great mate and did a good job. Pick up right on time. Talking with Capt. Yustas to arrange this trip went smoothly and he replied promptly and helpfully to every question and email I sent. We would recommend this guys for a fishing trip.

Great fishing experience from start to finish. I caught my first barracuda, and it was a memorable family trip. The staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming, and the boat was clean with beautiful waters. Captain Fortuna was also excellent with communication and always responded quickly to emails and texts. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great fishing trip.

Highly recommend! We had a successful 1/2 day, catching 4 mahi mahi and 1 barracuda! We had a charter for 2 on the Cana. The crew worked hard and were wonderful. Everything went very smoothly - from the hotel pick up to the drop off, the fishing, and the hotel drop off. A great experience!

We booked two trips, one on Blue Sky and one on Cana! They were super easy to book with and everything was very smooth! They pick you up and drop you off which is great so you don’t have to worry about getting to the marina. The boats were nice, super clean, and well equipped. Fishing was slow the first day out but still a good time. The second day action picked up! The captain and crews from both boats were great and very helpful! My son really appreciated the crew on the Blue Sky letting him help rig up lines and be more involved! I would definitely recommend getting a charter with them!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Fishing Trip! We had an incredible experience! The first mate was absolutely outstanding—very friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard the entire trip to make sure we had a great time. The captain was excellent as well, putting us on the fish and making the trip enjoyable from start to finish. In just 4 hours, we caught 2 mahi-mahi, 1 huge barracuda, and 4 smaller barracudas, which exceeded our expectations. The crew was professional, attentive, and made the experience fun for everyone on board. If you're looking for a great fishing charter in Punta Cana, I highly recommend this team. We would definitely book with them again! 5/5 stars! 🎣🌊☀️

Captain De la Rosa of the Sherlock and 1st mate Andy were great. Blue Marlin Fishing handled everything. They worked hard to put us on fish. If you are looking for a great charter and wonderful crew, this is it.

Very professional trip. Picked up on time at the resort and every thing was smooth the whole day. Had a successful day 9 mahi mahi and 1 yellowfin tuna. Had a great day. I would recommend and would go.again. I was on the blue sky.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Big Marlin Charters Punta Cana. The team was very knowledgeable and got us on some great fish. We caught four Mahi Mahi total and even with some of us getting sea sick they made it a very enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this company!

Amazing amazing amazing ! We had THE best day ever with these guys. From booking to pick up, to the end of the day we cannot fault the service. Our crew were amazing. Entertaining and focused. The boat was clean and comfortable. Our taxi driver Junior was on time. The car clean and junior talked to us and was very i formative. When we got to the beach we were met by Fadi and then escorted to our boat Cana. The fact we caught a fish a beautiful Mahimahi was a pure bonus. We did loose 2 Marlin... biy those fish fight. Use these guys and fish caught or not you will have THE best time xxx

We went on a 4hr tip had several bites caught a fish and had an up close look at the whales great captain and mate would fish with them again if in punta Cana thanks again

					  Our fantastic sea fishing!  - My son and I we did the four hour trip and it was a lot of fun this afternoon on the Sherlock boat. Captain Richard took us to some great spots ahead of the Punta Cana marina. We enjoyed his hospitality, the boat, the Dominican bochata and the weather in the Dominican Republic. Capt. Richard even suggested a good place to eat and then we went fishing and successfully caught a couple mahi-mahi and three barracuda. We hope to return for another trip when the water is a little warmer - this trip was in early March. If you are looking for a fun, courteous and knowledgeable captain, Richard and his assistant Andy are your guys!

					  Great fishing trip  - My wife and I had an awesome half day fishing charter with captain Miguel. We were on our last day of vacation and booked a fishing very spontaneously. The boat Sherlock was beautiful, gear was very nice and fishing was a blast. Miguel was awesome too. He was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. If we're ever in the Dominican republic again we'll definitely plan another fishing with him. Definitely recommend capt Miguel and boat Sherlock.

					  Memorable experience! - Memorable experience. Best half day charter in Punta Cana! Nice clean boat. Captain Coco was awesome and put us right on the good spot to have a successful trip. Highly recommend captain Coco and Rozario. Sure definitely will be back soon.

					  Gone fishing  - A great day fishing, we did a six hour trip and it was fantastic,Andy the first mate was brilliant, we managed to catch 6 fish which was a good result. Highly recommend

					  Excellent Experience - We had an amazing time on the Blue Sky boat with Captain Miguel. He made sure he was doing whatever he could to keep us on the mahi mahi and always made sure we were having fun. Cold beer and service! Everything about Blue Sky boat and crew is top notch. From the first minute you book till the end of the trip while the fish are being cleaned it was all amazing. Well done Blue Sky! See you in Punta Cana next year!!

					  Great day fishing in Punta Cana  - We had an amazing day with Big Marlin Charters in Punta Cana! We did the 6-hour deep sea fishing tour, and honestly, we could have stayed out even longer. The crew was super friendly and professional, and they made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The highlight of the trip was reeling in several mahi mahi and a couple of barracuda – such an adrenaline rush! The boat was clean and well-maintained, and the views out on the water were incredible. If you're looking for a great fishing experience in Punta Cana, I highly recommend Big Marlin Charters. We’re already talking about booking another trip next time!

					  What a great fishing trip!  - What a great fishing trip! First barracuda and a few good size mahi mahi! Absolutely amazing family experience . Awesome day on the water with Big Marlin Charters. No marlin but we had a great experience and definitely recommend mate Rosario and Captain Cocota!

					  Great Experience!! - Great , professional Company and crew!!  Although, not catching it was definitely not due to lack of effort!!

Went on “Blue Sky”. 6 hours. W/ Cpt. Francis and 1st Mate Andy. Great crew!! Got picked up by them in lobby of hotel in Cap Cana. Max great driver. Nice clean ice cold AC van.  Seemless. 

Met right at beach by 1st mate Andy. Explained boats are on moorings because there is no Marina there. Got on taxi boat 1 min to boat.  Very smooth. 

Once on Andy went through every detail not a question needed to be asked. Headed out about 20-30 mins. Lines in the water. 

Caught a couple small ones. Dorado, Barracuda. Got a couple rockets out of the water taking a jab at the bait. Missed. Again, not due to lack of trying. Will definitely keep their info for next time we are back. Highly recommend!!
